"I suppose you could say that Northfield and I are interchangeable. We need each other to survive. Having said that, there would be no Northfield without the team that makes everything happen here. The idea of working on a farm is full of wonderful imagery & Northfield is a beautiful place, but it takes a geat deal of dedication to spend a day making sausages, raising pies, boning beef or any of the other many things that need to be done."

Leo, known as 'The Tank' took over most of the day to day farming activities at the tender age of 16 and looks after all the livestock and machinery here at Northfield.  He is particularly  passionate about the Aberdeen Angus breed and hand raised Percy the Bull who comes over to him when called for a bit of a fuss!
Leo is in his second year at Moulton Agricultural College.

Marc has worked at Northfield since leaving school. Marc oversees much of what happens at Northfield and his expertise covers IT, production, website, butchery, organisation, sales and the latest, very occasionally, waiting in the Restaurant.

Matt Jones, no longer based at Northfield but his spirit continues in the inspiration which set us on track with our Restaurant & Bakery.

Alan was the first 'proper' butcher to work at Northfield when the business first started. Alan has taken partial retirement, but is still to be seen working at the block from the crack of dawn a few mornings every week. Despite his many years away from his home county of Norfolk, his dulcet tones still ring out across the shop. Alan is an example to us all.

Stef works for Northfield in London's Borough market, he organises the day to day running of our 'cage' at the market, he also returns to homebase (the farm) to resupply every week. He will always be smiling and happy to help.  Stef also runs our market at Mile End (Thursdays) so be sure to say hello!

Jinny is the Company Secretary and runs the accounts section. 

Tessa talks to herself all the time in the office, so much so that we all decide to ignore her.  When things go wrong we also like to point the finger of blame at her.  Tessa runs our events department and attends Broadway Market every Saturday.

Sam is a legendary salesman in the making. Such is his enthusiasm that he is admired and feared in equal measure by our Farm Shop customers. Sam cures bacon, and is the face most regularly to be seen promoting our wares and the ways in which Northfield Farm can improve your life, in our Farm Shop. Sam has recently added selling our produce at Stamford Farmers Market (every 2nd Friday) to his list of responsibilities.

You may recognise Andrew from the BBC TV series "Turn Back Time: The High Street" where a group of shop-keeping families are transported back to the birth of the high street in the 1870s, and propelled through a century of change right up to the modern era in the 1970s. Andrew teaches butchery up and down the country and travels to Northfield all the way from Cumbria to help with advice, butchery and training.

Along with making the sausages and burgers on the farm Kathy also looks after the animals in Pets Corner along with the chickens, Jimmy the Donkey and Billy the Shetland Pony.

Ros prepares all our sausages and burgers as well as working in the Farm Shop. Ros also keeps the butchers in order as well as combining the talents of slave driver with sausage-linking wizardry!

Amy works in The Northfield Farm Restaurant and is one of the most cheerful people you will ever meet!
