Apple & Cider Brandy Chutney
Apple & Cider Brandy Chutney
3.00 Each - This traditional apple chutney has been transmogrified by the addition of a fair measure of Somerset Cider Brandy. West country in character, it is an obvious partner for our local cheeses, pies and hams. I think it is sensational with cold roast pork and think that you may well find this an irresistable combination.

Apricot & Fresh Ginger Chutney
Apricot & Fresh Ginger Chutney
3.00 Each - We use fresh ginger root to prevent the harsh taste of ginger powder zapping your taste buds before you've experienced the apricot! Thus a warm glow gently suffuses the palate without killing the flavour of cheese, cold meat, pork pie or cold fowl with which you may well use it. It is also excellent with curries as a change from mango chutney.

Country Garden Chutney
Country Garden Chutney
3.00 Each - So called because the first batch was made from all the vegetables I could find in our garden, and made to remind me of chutney as made by my grandmother in 1942. It is simple yet delicious and it brings back to me the days when all these things were homemade.

Indian Mango Chutney
Indian Mango Chutney
3.00 Each - This excellent chutney with its large chunks of mango, is made for us in India, and has the authentic taste and texture. It is a good tracklement for vegetable, meat or fish curries, as well as with cold meats and cheese. It has no artificial colours or preservatives.

Piccalilli
Piccalilli
3.00 Each - A really crunchy mix of fresh vegetables in a tangy smooth mustard sauce.

Tomato & Onion Chutney
Tomato & Onion Chutney
3.00 Each - Too many tomatoes one autumn set us experimenting in the hope of that elusive balance of the sweet and sour elements with the spices coming right. We think we have done it and it is my idea of the perfect tracklement for cheddar cheese, cold pork, chicken or turkey.
