Northfield Farm make spicy, gluten free lamb or mutton Merguez sausages from a recipe originating from North Africa every week.
They are explosions of flavour, with complex spices and herbs and a touch of chilli for heat. They are delicious with chopped into cous cous with roasted mediterranean vegetables.
They are also delicious stuffed into pitta bread with crunchy lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onions and minty yoghurt or mayonnaise. We have customers who adore our Lamb Merguez sausages for breakfast with sourdough bread, poached eggs and avocado.
