Fusilli pasta are shaped like little spirals, giving lots of surface area for chunky sauces to cling to. Fantastic with meat ragus, or creamy or tomato sauces containing small chunks of vegetables such as courgettes and aubergines.
Seggiano organic Fusilli pasta is made in the unspoilt Orcia Valley of southern Tuscany, using premium high density, 100% Tuscan organic durum wheat. Seggiano pastas are bronze drawn, rather than machine rolled, which gives it a rough, matt texture that is porous and binds perfectly with sauces. The nutritional quality of the grain is preserved by the slow drying process which in combination with the premium quality of the durum wheat used, gives the cooked pasta its even, firm consistency and excellent flavour.
