Paccheri are large tubes of pasta. They go particularly well with any really chunky sauces – pulled meat ragus, really hearty vegetable sauces, mixed seafood – and are also excellent tossed in sauce and topped with bechamel and cheese for pasta bakes.
Seggiano organic Paccheri pasta is made in the unspoilt Orcia Valley of southern Tuscany, using premium high density, 100% Tuscan organic durum wheat. Seggiano pastas are bronze drawn, rather than machine rolled, which gives it a rough, matt texture that is porous and binds perfectly with sauces. The nutritional quality of the grain is preserved by the slow drying process which in combination with the premium quality of the durum wheat used, gives the cooked pasta its even, firm consistency and excellent flavour.
